In other words, you don't need to feel pain to visit a chiropractor. In fact, many vertebral subluxations are initially painless, only beginning to develop symptoms after some time. Just like going to the dentist, having a regular spinal check-up is beneficial for all of us at all ages.<\/p><p>By keeping the spine free of subluxations and promoting optimal functioning of the nervous system, we contribute to the maintenance and strengthening of health, a more resilient immune system and an easier ability to adapt to stressful situations, as well as to recover from injuries.<\/p><p>A spine free of subluxations contributes to several factors essential to our well-being and allows us to live life to the fullest:<\/p><ul><li>Improved sleep quality<\/li><li>Reduced inflammation<\/li><li>Improved posture<\/li><li>Increased mobility<\/li><li>Reduction of stress and its effects<\/li><li>Prevention of musculoskeletal pathologies<\/li><li>Less need for medication and hospitalization<\/li><\/ul><div>In 2014, a study (1) of 12,170 patients compared the effectiveness of chiropractic care versus medical care over a 1-year horizon. The study concluded on the superior effectiveness and preventive effect of chiropractic care on parameters of daily activities such as standing, walking, stooping, and on patients' self-assessment of
